EU Parliament : Geopolitics of Raw Materials

On March 4, 2026, Resource Matters spoke at the high-level event “Geopolitics of Raw Materials” hosted by MEP Jana Jalloul, and featured the EU Commission and various MEPs. Representing 50+ members of the EU Raw Materials Coalition, with key EU Commission and European Parliament officials, Resource Matters stressed that Europe is at a turning point in the global minerals race: it must secure supply while upholding its values by supporting value addition. The EU–DRC partnership is a key test, requiring local investment and transparency to deliver a fair green transition.
