Lithium in the DRC : Workshop to present findings from the roundtable discussion

On September 25, 2026, Manono hosts a major conference dedicated to the future of lithium in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Titled “Lithium in the DRC: Securing Investment, Strengthening Governance and Building Sustainable Local Prosperity,” this meeting presents the conclusions of a strategic roundtable that brought together government, investors, local stakeholders and civil society in Kinshasa.

This roundtable aims to open debate at the local level to find the best pathways for sustainable and profitable exploitation of this mineral, and to contribute to the development of a shared strategic vision for the lithium sector in the DRC. This vision seeks to reconcile three key objectives: investment attractiveness, concrete benefits for the country, and inclusive local development.
