OECD Global Anti-corruption and Integrity Forum 2026 : Critical Minerals, Critical Moment
At OECD’s GACIF 2026, Resource Matters participated as a speaker in a high-level session organized by Natural Resource Governance Institute (NRGI) on “Critical Minerals, Critical Moment: Geopolitics, vulnerabilities, and lessons learned from a high-risk sector.” The session brought together experts from across the anti-corruption, governance, and extractive sectors to examine the growing risks associated with critical mineral supply chains in the context of rising global demand and geopolitical tensions.
Resource Matters contributed to the discussion by sharing insights on corruption risks in the Congolese extractive sector. The exchange highlighted the need for stronger governance frameworks, greater transparency, and coordinated action to ensure that the development of critical minerals supports a just and accountable energy transition.
