OECD Side Event : Responsible cobalt sourcing

At the 2024 OECD Forum on Responsible Mineral Supply Chains, Resource Matters organized a roundtable entitled “Towards Responsible Cobalt Mining: Challenges, Experiences and Solutions.”

The event brought together key actors from the cobalt supply chain and representatives of Congolese civil society to discuss ongoing challenges and solutions for responsible mining.

The objective was to foster more direct engagement between community representatives and cobalt buyers, so that the latter can more rigorously fulfill their due diligence obligations.
