Integrated Energy Planning : National Roundtable
Co-organized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Electricity, the Regulatory Authority, and the Mwangaza Network, the national roundtable on integrated and multisectoral energy planning aims to secure the support of policymakers (and other key stakeholders) for the need to implement integrated and multisectoral energy planning in the DRC.
Against the backdrop of a global energy transition and growing climate commitments, the DRC needs to establish a coherent national framework for integrated, multisectoral energy planning, based on evidence, a long-term vision, and an inclusive approach. The lack of such a framework limits the government’s ability to effectively guide investments, prioritize high-impact projects, and align public policies with the country’s sustainable development goals and climate commitments.
This roundtable provides a structured forum for dialogue, consultation, and collaborative decision-making on integrated energy planning in the DRC.
