Energy planning workshop : DRC-Kenya exchange

The energy planning workshop, held from July 1 to 5, 2024 in Naivasha, Kenya, provided a platform for exchange on integrated approaches to the energy sector. Member organizations of the Réseau Mwangaza took part to draw inspiration from Kenyan experiences and best practices through interactive sessions aimed at better aligning energy policies with development challenges.

The objective was to derive practical lessons to support the potential implementation of integrated energy planning in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, highlighting the key role of energy as a driver of development. Resource Matters coordinated the workshop, including agenda setting and mobilizing Congolese stakeholders, ensuring active and diverse participation.
