Workshop : Mining-Energy Nexus

From December 10 to 12, 2024, in Kinshasa, Resource Matters organized a workshop on the Electrification of Decentralized Territorial Entities (DTEs) Benefiting from Mining Royalties, in collaboration with:

  • the Ministry of the Interior, Security, Decentralization and Customary Affairs,
  • the Ministry of Rural Development,
  • the Ministry of Water Resources and Electricity,
  • the Ministry of Mines, and
  • the Ministry Delegate for International Cooperation and Francophonie.

This workshop provided an opportunity to hold several sessions on the electrification of rural communities in the country and the use of mining royalties for electrification purposes.
