Deputy Director
Jean Claude Mputu Ingole is the Deputy Director of Resource Matters, where he leads advocacy strategies focused on financial transparency and universal access to energy. As a recognized expert in governance in the Democratic Republic of Congo, he defines the organization’s strategic direction and represents it before decision-makers in the extractive and energy sectors.
He also serves as spokesperson for the anti-corruption coalition “Le Congo n’est pas à vendre” (CNPAV). His exceptional leadership earned him international recognition in 2023 when he was named a “Champion of the Fight Against Corruption” by the United States Department of State, a global acknowledgment of his integrity and courage.
He previously worked with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), where he contributed extensively to strengthening civil society and democratic processes in the DRC. Jean Claude holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the University of Liège and several advanced degrees in law and international relations.
